“Know What You Eat” is a campaign by the National Organic Agricultural Movement of Uganda (NOGAMU) that emphasizes the direct connection between food, soil, and overall health. It highlights the idea that healthy food can only come from healthy soil, and that every stage of the value chain—from preparing the soil, choosing the right seeds, managing crops, weeds, pests, and diseases, to delivering the final product—should be handled organically. By promoting awareness of what we consume, the campaign encourages individuals to make informed choices that improve human health, strengthen immunity, and ensure sustainable ecosystems.
Ecological Organic Agriculture Initiative - Uganda: Interview with Allen Tracy about EOA
This initiative centers on promoting sustainable farming practices that align with ecological principles. The initiative aims to empower local farmers by encouraging organic methods that enhance soil health, biodiversity, and long-term productivity.
